Various student bodies, chapters and clubs provide students with the platforms to channelize their energy in positive way and exhibit and hone their skills. College cafeteria and student center is a architectural marvel and an ideal place for endless discussions and talks. Well planned and maintained lush green lawns in the vicinity of residential halls gives resort like looks to the residences. Fatehgarh sahib is a historical city with important religious places associated with all the faiths and historical sites related to mughals and kushan period.
Students have the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities which enables them to weave a pattern of life which equips them to stand up to the many pressures of community living, to train themself in the making of inferences in everyday situations, to help them deriving greater insight into their personal relationships and to arouse in them a sensibility of aesthetic experience. Students accommodation arrangement consist of four modern and well designed residence halls equipped with most modern facilities and amenities.

Each Hostel is self-contained with amenities such as Common Room, Reading Room, and Dining Hall with Mess. Internet facility and 24 generator backed power is provided in all the residence halls. All the leading newspapers and magazines are made available in the residence halls. Students have anytime access to the hostels wardens and proper security systems is place for the safety of the inmates. Mess and canteen are managed with the help of student committees and students are given representation in all other hostel committees.

Sports and Games

The Institute lays considerable emphasis on student participation in various outdoor and indoor games. The students are encouraged to participate in games and sports activities which cover athletics (men and women), badminton (men and women), basketball (men and women), cricket, football, gymnastics, hockey, judo, kabaddi, cycling, table tennis (men and women), tennis, volleyball, yoga, weightlifting, multi-gym and swimming .These activities make the leisure hours of students profitable. Emphasis is laid on mass participation by the students. Well laid out fields are available on the campus. A cricket field, a hockey and a football ground, volleyball and basket-ball courts (flood lit), Two tennis courts (flood-lit), Table tennis tables (one in each hostel), The large gymnasium hall is built in the College Campus where the students have a place for badminton in inclement weather or to engage themselves in gymnastics. The Institute has a 16-exercise multigym. A large swimming pool is under construction and will be complete by the end of this year. a stadium with standard athletics track and ancillary arrangements for athletics are the facilities available to the students. Well qualified Sports Officer assisted by physical training instructors are on the staff to help the students in developing their interest in the games and preparing them to acceptable standards. Annual Athletics meet is organized at College level.

Cultural Activities

Cultural activities at BBSBEC provides a full measure of opportunity to students for their artistic and theatrical pursuits. College has a auditorium with seating capacity of 750 which forms the hub of the cultural life at BBSBEC. Famous personalities like Uttam Singh and wadali brothers have performed in this auditorium. Student cultural committees under the guidance of faculty members organize various cultural programs from time to time in form of welcome parties, farewell parties and inter department competitions. These activities add another dimension to the many-sided life of the Institute community. College Level cultural Committee manages all cultural events in the college and works for further representation at the university level and other competitions. College is winner of the Zonal cultural youth festival for the last three year and large number of our students represented the college at National level .

Chapter of Professional Societies and clubs

All the Departments have chapters of professional societies like CSI, ISTE, IE, managed by the faculty and students to promote academic interests. Students interested in quiz competitions, debate and other technical competitions join varies clubs like Devnet Club ,Techno Club etc which organize number of technical competitions from time to time every year.

Counseling and Interaction

Special efforts are made to promote student-teacher interaction. As most of the faculty resides in the campus, it provides students with an opportunity of interaction with their teachers even after regular college timings. Counseling and Student Support services have been provided to assist students during their stay on BBSBEC campus, from the initial process of assimilation up to their graduation from the Institute.
