Existence of strong industry and academia partnership plays a vital role in exchange of ideas and resources which is very essential for any center of learning. We at BBSBEC are committed to bridge this academic industry gap and seeks the corporate sector cooperation in producing better engineers to meet today and tomorrow's needs. There exists multiple opportunities for corporate involvement with BBSBEC namely, student recruitment and internships, setting up of corporate academies, corporate funded research and development projects, center of excellence and executive education programs. We have already taken initiatives in this direction and some of the steps taken are summarized below.

Student recruitment and Internships: We have a very strong liaison with corporate sector in this area and industry express full faith in our students and faculty. Number of good companies comes to our campus for recruitment purposes every semester and large number of our students undergo internships and industrial training in various companies of repute. This is the result of the hard work of faculty, quality of our stuff and efforts put in by the alumni of this institute over the years. Our students have established a brand name for themselves which make them unique from the crowd.

CISCO CCNA and Wireless Academy: We at Fatehgarh Sahib are fully committed to train the students according to the needs of the industry and as a part of that we have tied up with CISCO for training students on CISCO networking and wireless technologies. The course curriculum are specially designed by the CISCO and it will help in increasing the job opportunities for the students.

Redhat Center of Excellence: BBSBEC has entered into MOU with Redhat India for setting up Redhat center of excellence and training our students and faculty on Redhat technologies. This center showcase all the Redhat technologies and products and students and faculty get full access to the Redhat software.

Lecture Series: To give our students more exposure to what is happening in the industry, Speakers from industry are invited for special lecture series on regular basis. These lectures are highly beneficial for the faculty and students alike and bring them more close to the corporate environment.

Corporate funded Projects: Efforts are underway to get some corporate funded research project and as a part of this program Wireless and mobile Communication research center has already been established in which research on various areas related to wireless and mobile communication will be conducted.
